Registers of party agents

When a party agent is appointed, their details are entered into a register of party agents.

The NSW Electoral Commission publishes a separate state register of party agents and local government register of Party Agents.

Party agents must notify the NSW Electoral Commission of any changes to the details stated on the Register.

If a party has revoked the appointment of an agent, the party must complete a form to notify the NSW Electoral Commission of the revocation of the appointment.

An agent who resigns should first notify the party that appointed them. That party must notify the NSW Electoral Commission of the agent's resignation by completing a form.

If an agent dies, the party that appointed the agent must notify the NSW Electoral Commission of the agent's death by completing a form.
