Funding & Disclosure
Major reforms to funding and disclosure legislation (Election Funding, Expenditure and Disclosures Act 1981) commenced on 1 January 2011 and will impact on political donations, campaign expenditure and public funding for NSW State elections. In particular the reforms impose caps on political donations and electoral communication expenditure and provide for a restructure in public funding for NSW State election campaigns.
