An elector may vote at an overseas voting location either:

• in person, during normal office hours until the close of business on the Thursday before election day, or
• by writing to any of the overseas postal voting offices and requesting a postal vote application. Any such request must be received prior to the close of business on the Wednesday before election day.

The envelope containing the completed ballot papers must be completed prior to 6.00pm on election day. Overseas postal voting locations are not open on election day.

Overseas Voting Locations are subject to appointment at the time of an election.

Locations will be advised in this website before the election is called.

Generally, there is no Overseas voting at by-elections.
