Boundary Description

Commencing at the intersection of Kanahooka Road and the Southern Freeway: and bounded thence by that road and its prolongation, south-easterly to the mean low water mark of the generally north-western shore of Lake Illawarra; by that mean low water mark and the mean low water marks of the generally northern and generally eastern shores of that lake, generally north-easterly, generally easterly and generally southerly and the left bank of the entrance channel to that lake, generally south-westerly to the mean low water mark of the shore of South Pacific Ocean; by that mean low water mark (except at the entrance of any river, creek or inlet of the sea where the boundary shall be a straight line connecting two points on the shore opposite the outermost headlands at the entrance of any such river, creek or inlet of the sea) generally northerly to the eastern prolongation of Elliotts Road; by that prolongation and road, westerly, the Princes Highway, generally southerly, again, Southern Freeway, generally south-westerly to the Illawarra Railway; by that railway, generally south-westerly, the Mount Kembla Coal Company’s railway, north-westerly to, again, Princes Highway; by that highway, north-easterly and Cordeaux Road, generally north-westerly to the southern prolongation of the eastern boundary of Lot 3, DP 867936; by that prolongation, boundary and its prolongation northerly to American Creek; by that creek, downwards and Brandy and Water Creek, upwards to Harry Graham Drive; by that drive and again, Cordeaux Road, generally south-westerly to the Dapto Sydney South Transmission Line; by that transmission line, south-westerly to Moss Vale Unanderra Railway; by that railway, generally south-westerly to the north-western prolongation of an unnamed creek running through Lots 2 and 1, DP 216373, Pt Lot 260, DP 751278, DP 103890, Lot 2410, DP 864131, Lot 23, DP 790915 and Lot 1, DP 71431; by that prolongation and creek, downwards to the eastern boundary of the latter Lot and DP; by that boundary and its prolongation, northerly to Sheaffes Road; by that road, easterly, West Dapto Road, south-westerly, Darkes Road, generally south-easterly and Kanahooka Road, aforesaid, south-easterly to the point of commencement (inclusive of all islands lying off the coast of the district above defined).
