Boundary Description

Commencing at the intersection of the generally southern boundary of Tumut (LGA), gazetted 11th February 2004 and the boundary between the State of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory: and bounded thence by the latter boundary, generally northerly, to the generally northern boundary of Tumut (LGA); by that boundary generally westerly, part of the generally north-eastern, generally northern and generally western boundaries of Wagga Wagga City, gazetted 23rd December 1983, generally north-westerly, generally westerly and generally southerly, the generally northwestern and generally south-western boundaries of Lockhart Shire, gazetted 29th May 1953, generally south-westerly and generally south-easterly, the generally northern boundary of Greater Hume Shire, gazetted 26th May 2004, generally easterly, the generally northern boundary of Tumbarumba Shire, gazetted 26th May 2004, generally easterly to the centre of Talbingo Reservoir; by the centre of that reservoir generally south-easterly to Yarrangobilly River at Lobs Hole; by that river, Wallace Creek, Stable Creek and Milk Shanty Creek and its prolongation upwards to the generally southern boundary of Tumut (LGA), aforesaid, by part of that boundary, generally north-easterly and generally south-easterly to the point of commencement.
