PORT MACQUARIE

From Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve in the north to the Lansdowne River in the south; and from Koppin Yarratt Creek in the west to the New South Wales coast in the east (inclusive of Lord Howe Island and all islands lying off the coast of the district).

Boundary Description

Commencing at the junction of the generally northern boundary of Hastings Council, gazetted 12th January 1996 and the mean low water mark of the South Pacific Ocean: and bounded thence by part of that boundary, generally westerly to Maria River; by that river, downwards and Wilson River, upwards to the Pacific Highway; by that highway, generally south-easterly to the Hastings River; by that river, Munns Channel, Caswell Channel, again, Hastings River and Kings Creek, upwards to the generally western boundary of the Parish of Burrawan, County of Macquarie; by part of that boundary, generally south-westerly to the North Coast Railway; by that railway, generally southerly to Bago Road; by that road and Lookout Road, generally north-westerly, Boundary Road and Rollover Road, generally westerly to the Broken Bago Range; by that range, generally south-westerly to Mount Comboyne; by a line, south-westerly to an unnamed creek flowing generally south-easterly to Upsalls Creek; by that unnamed creek, downwards and Upsalls creek, upwards to the northern prolongation of the western boundary of Lot 42, DP 754407; by that prolongation, boundary and its southern prolongation to Lorne Road; by that road, generally south-westerly to the north-western prolongation of the north-eastern boundary of Lot 46, DP 754407; by that prolongation, boundary, the generally southern and the generally south-western boundaries of that lot and its prolongation, generally south-easterly, generally westerly and generally north-westerly to, again, Lorne Road; by that road, generally westerly, to the generally southern boundary of Hastings Council; by part of that boundary, generally westerly to Bulli Road; by that road, generally south-easterly, the cadastral road running through lot 5, DP 748927, generally southerly and Koppin Yarratt Road, generally southerly to Koppin Yarratt Creek; by that creek, Landsdowne River and Manning River, downwards to the mean low water mark of the South Pacific Ocean, aforesaid and by that mean low water mark (except at the entrance of any river, creek or inlet of the sea where the boundary shall be a straight line connecting two points on the shore opposite the outermost headlands at the entrance of any such river, creek or inlet of the sea), generally north-easterly to the point of commencement (inclusive of Lord Howe Island and all islands lying off the coast of the district above defined).
