Boundary Description

Commencing at the junction of the generally western boundary of Inverell Shire with the boundary between the States of New South Wales and Queensland: and bounded thence by that shire boundary generally southerly, part of the generally southern boundary of that shire generally south-easterly, the generally western boundaries of Guyra and Uralla Shires generally southerly, the generally south-western boundary of the last mentioned shire generally south-easterly and part of the generally northern boundary of Walcha Shire generally easterly to Chandler River; by that river, Styx River and Serpentine Creek upwards to the generally north-western boundary of Bellingen Shire; by part of that boundary generally north-easterly, the generally western boundary of Nymboida Shire generally northerly and part of the generally southern and part of the generally western boundaries of Copmanhurst Shire westerly and generally northerly to Timbarra River; by that river and Macleods Creek upwards to Rocky River Road; by that road and the road traversing Long Creek and its continuation generally northerly to Teatree Creek; by that creek downwards to Bruxner Highway; by that highway generally easterly to Clarence River; by that river and Maryland River upwards to Rivertree Road; by that road generally westerly to Wylie Creek; by that creek downwards to Mount Lindesay Road; by that road and Cullendore Road generally northerly to the boundary between the States of New South Wales and Queensland, aforesaid; and by that boundary generally westerly to the point of commencement.
