Boundary Description

Commencing on the low water mark of the shore of South Pacific Ocean at North Head: and bounded thence by the low water mark of the generally northern shore of Port Jackson generally north-westerly to Cannae Point; by a line north-westerly to Dobroyd Head; again by the low water mark of that shore generally south-westerly, the low water mark of the generally north-eastern shore of Middle Harbour generally north-westerly and the low water mark of the generally eastern shore of Bantry Bay generally northerly to the generally northern boundary of Manly Council; by part of that boundary easterly and generally south-easterly to the generally southern boundary of Manly Warringah War Memorial Park; by that boundary generally easterly and the eastern boundary of that park and its prolongation northerly to Manly Creek at Manly Dam; by that creek downwards to Sloane Crescent; by that crescent generally north-easterly, Condamine Street generally northerly, Pittwater Road generally north-easterly, Harbord Road southerly, Headland Road generally easterly, Wheeler Parade northerly and Pacific Parade and its prolongation easterly to the low water mark of the shore of South Pacific Ocean, aforesaid; and by that low water mark (except at the entrance of any river, creek or inlet of the sea where the boundary shall be a straight line connecting two points on the shore opposite the outermost headlands at the entrance of any such river, creek or inlet of the sea) generally southerly to the point of commencement (inclusive of all islands lying off the coast of the district above defined).
