Boundary Description

Commencing at the intersection of the eastern prolongation of Headland Avenue and the low water mark of the shore of South Pacific Ocean: and bounded thence by that low water mark (except at the entrance of any river, creek or inlet of the sea where the boundary shall be a straight line connecting two points on the shore opposite the outermost headlands at the entrance of any such river, creek or inlet of the sea) generally southerly to the south-eastern prolongation of the north-eastern boundary of Towradgi Beach Park; by that prolongation, boundary and its prolongation north-westerly to Murranar Road; by that road generally westerly, Carters Lane northerly and Weber Crescent and its prolongation westerly to Illawarra Railway; by that railway generally southerly to Princes Highway; by that highway north-westerly, Northern Distributor and Southern Freeway generally south-westerly and Mount Keira Road generally northerly and generally south-westerly to the eastern prolongation of the northern boundary of Portion 2; by that prolongation and part of that boundary westerly to Goondarrin Creek; by that creek downwards and the centre of Lake Cordeaux generally north-westerly to the generally western boundary of the City of Wollongong; by part of that boundary generally north-easterly to Darkes Forest Road; by that road generally south-easterly and Princes Highway generally southerly to the western prolongation of the southern boundary of Lot 720, DP 810892; by that prolongation easterly to Stockyard Creek; by that creek downwards to Morrison Avenue; by that avenue generally south-westerly and Cater Street generally south-easterly to Illawarra Railway, aforesaid; by that railway generally southerly to the western prolongation of Headland Avenue; and by that prolongation, avenue and its prolongation, aforesaid, easterly to the point of commencement (inclusive of all islands lying off the coast of the district above defined).
