Boundary Description
Commencing at the intersection of Macquarie Road and Winding Creek: and bounded thence by that road generally southerly and Medcalf Street and its prolongation generally south-westerly to the generally eastern shore of Lake Macquarie; by that shore generally southerly to the western prolongation of Warners Bay Road; by that prolongation and road generally easterly, Wilsons Road generally south-easterly, Violet Town Road generally southerly and Croudace Road generally north-easterly to the northern prolongation of the westernmost eastern boundary of Portion 1651, Parish of Kahibah, County of Northumberland; by that prolongation and boundary generally southerly, the generally north-eastern and part of an eastern boundary of that portion generally south-westerly and southerly to Frazers Creek; by that creek, Crokers Creek and the centre line of Jewells Swamp downward to the low water mark of the shore of South Pacific Ocean; by that low water mark (except at the entrance of any river, creek or inlet of the sea where the boundary shall be a straight line connecting two points on the shore opposite the outermost headlands at the entrance of any such river, creek or inlet of the sea) generally northerly to the generally southern boundary of the City of Newcastle; by part of that boundary generally north-westerly to the generally eastern boundary of Portion 177, Parish of Newcastle; by part of that boundary generally northerly to Pacific Highway; by that highway generally south-westerly, Brunker Road generally northerly, Glebe Road westerly, St James Road north-westerly, Bridges Road generally southerly, Carnley Avenue generally south-westerly, Charlestown Road generally northerly, Cardiff Road and Main Road, aforesaid, generally south-westerly, Newcastle Street southerly and Myall Road north-westerly to Winding Creek, aforesaid, and by that creek downwards to the point of commencement (inclusive of all islands lying off the coast of the district above defined).
