Commencing at the intersection of Glennies Creek and Main Northern Railway: and bounded thence by that railway generally north-westerly to Foy Brook; by that brook and Hunter River downwards and Wollombi Brook and Hayes Creek upwards to the road from California to Commission Road; by that road generally north-westerly and Commission Road generally south-westerly to Hunter Range; by that range generally westerly to the generally north-western boundary of Singleton Shire; by part of that boundary generally south-westerly, the generally south-western and generally southern boundaries of that shire generally south-easterly and generally easterly, part of the generally south-western and the generally southern boundaries of the City of Cessnock generally south-easterly and generally easterly, the generally north-western and the generally northern boundaries of the City of Lake Macquarie generally north-easterly and generally easterly, part of the western boundary of the City of Newcastle northerly, part of the generally southern and the generally western boundaries of the City of Maitland generally westerly and generally northerly and part of the generally south-western boundary of Dungog Shire generally north-westerly to the generally southern boundary of Mount Royal National Park; by that boundary generally westerly, part of the generally south-western boundary of that national park generally northerly and part of the generally southern boundary of Mount Royal State Forest generally westerly to Foy Brook; by that brook and Glennies Creek, aforesaid, downwards to the point of commencement.
