Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Enrolment FAQs

The NSW electoral roll is a list of electors' names and addresses that is used to determine who can vote at elections. You only have to fill in one enrolment form to have your name put on the electoral roll to vote in federal, state and local government elections and referundums.

We recommend our handbooks for detailed guidance on party registration and ongoing requirements. Political parties should also carefully consider the requirements of the Acts and seek their own independent legal advice where necessary, before submitting an application for registration.
